DRK105 Smoothness tester is an intelligent instrument for measuring the smoothness of paper and cardboard, which is designed and developed according to the internationally accepted Bekk smoothing principle.

2. Pre-pressing time selection: The instrument has the function of “60 seconds automatic pre-pressing control”. Users can choose whether to use this function or not according to their needs.

The instrument can be used for all kinds of high smoothness paper testing. This instrument is capable to measure high-smooth paper and cardboard. It should not be used to test materials with thickness over 0.5 or more and paper or cardboard with high permeability, because air passing through the sample can cause untrue results.
