YYP-J20 Filter Paper Pore Size Tester
The instrument is small in size, light in weight, easy to move and easy to operate. Using advanced electronic technology, the instrument itself can calculate the maximum aperture value of the test piece as long as the liquid surface tension value is input.
The aperture value of each test piece and the average value of a group of test pieces are printed by the printer. Each group of test pieces is not more than 5. This product is mainly applicable to the determination of the maximum aperture of filter paper used in internal combustion engine filter.
The principle is that according to the principle of capillary action, as long as the measured air is forced through the pore of the measured material humidified by a liquid, so that the air is expelled from the liquid in the largest pore tube of the test piece, the pressure required when the first bubble emerges from the pore, using the known tension on the surface of the liquid at the measured temperature,The maximum aperture and average aperture of the test piece can be calculated by using the capillary equation.
