Short Description:

Instrument Purpose

It is used to determine the rainproof performance of rainproof garments by means of a static mannequin exposed to artificial rainfall. It applies to testing jackets, trousers, coats and onepiece or twopiece suits.

It is not applicable for testing the garment resistance to other weather conditions such as snow, hail or strong wind.

BS EN 14360:2004, ISO 242312024 and other standards.

Product Features

1. Large screen color touch screen with Chinese English bilingual menu operation interface.

2. Equipped with the self developed operating system; General Purpose Test Instrument Software V1.0.0.

3. The base adopts space aluminum frame; viewing surfaces are made of plexiglass; all other water contact components are SUS304 stainless steel for long term rust free service.

4. Standard compliant test mannequin with adjustable standing angle and swingable arms.

5. The rainfall system is equipped with a high precision pump liquid control system.

6. 25 channel humidity sensors collect signals and connect to the dedicated test system to monitor real time wetting status of specimens under rain impact.

7. The water receiving tray adopts an electric transfer device for rapid response.

8. Modular frame design facilitates transportation, handling and installation.

9. Two temperature sensors measure ambient temperature and water temperature inside the circular water tank respectively.

10. Separated design of electric control cabinet and main unit eliminates potential safety hazards caused by water contact.
